After building the personalized genetics market with players like 23andMe, Ancestry.com and the Mayo Clinic, I was challenged by the lack of translation from genetics to personalized products that people love. I then spent years on research, striving to learn the relationship with the body and the physical properties of taste with respect to coffee. I am here to pass on the lessons learnt in entrepreneurship and being an experienced sales executive in bio-medical technology firms.

Medical Lead

After nearly a decade of working in family medicine, I have seen and experienced many of the challenges facing physicians, patients, and the medical industry at large. I believe in the mission of Canadian Healthcare delivery, but the need for adaptation to evolving demands is critical. I believe technology and innovation can deliver significant value to the medical community, helping bring better care to all Canadians. I am looking to lend my expertise to businesses who are making our health care infrastructure more efficient.

I want Founders to succeed and be able to focus on their area of expertise that makes them exceptional. I started completing pro bono work for a friend’s startup and loved being able to assist driven Founders navigate uncertainty. After a career in the Canadian Armed Forces, I went to work for Deloitte. I subsequently enrolled in the Queen’s MBA program to gain a better appreciation for management consulting and entrepreneurship, and wanted to contribute to the Startup Community.
